about-us

Building Bridges Together

Bridging Communities is a family-led initiative dedicated to supporting families in Southern Oregon who have children experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities. From our inception, our program has been shaped by the voices and experiences of the families we serve. It was these families who chose the name "Bridging Communities," reflecting our mission to create connections and foster an inclusive, supportive environment.

We believe that every individual, regardless of their abilities, has the right to live, love, work, play, and pursue their life aspirations within their community. Our goal is to build a network where families can connect with one another, access valuable resources, and find the support they need to flourish. We are committed to ensuring that families feel supported, informed, and empowered.

At Bridging Communities, we are more than just a network; we are a community of families working together to create a better, more inclusive world for our children.
