Safe & Loved Social Story

Safe & Loved is a social story created by families, for families.

It is designed to help children learn what they can do if they ever feel unsure in a situation. The story uses clear language and visual supports to walk through steps in a steady, supportive way.

This resource focuses on:

• Identifying trusted adults
• Understanding personal safety
• Knowing what steps to take
• Using a red card to communicate clearly
• Practicing together as a family

The goal is to help children feel prepared and supported. Many families choose to read the story together and revisit it over time, at their child’s pace.

Who Can Request a Copy?

Families are welcome to request a copy directly.

Community-based organizations, schools, and family-serving partners may also request copies to share with the families they support.

For larger requests, we may need additional time to print and prepare materials.
