Whether you’re brand new to volunteering or have helped out before, this training will help you feel confident and prepared to host at Bridging Communities events.

Join us to learn what it means to volunteer at resource fairs and community gatherings — from setting up a welcoming table to greeting families in inclusive, respectful ways. We’ll also cover how to respond to common safety and accessibility situations with care and clarity.

This is a great chance to:

  • Connect with other volunteers
  • Ask questions in a supportive space
  • Get ready for upcoming events

Additionally, we want to ensure that transportation, child care, and translation services are never barriers to participation. We encourage you to note any potential barriers in the registration forms so we can explore ways to help you.

To better serve our community and confirm to our funders that we are reaching the families who need us, our registration forms will ask for some basic information. Your privacy is important to us, and all data collected will be handled confidentially.
