Preparing for the Holidays

November 16 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for a free, family-friendly training with Lauren Stewart, Autism Consultant, focused on practical strategies for preparing for the holiday season. We’ll learn about ways to use visual supports and other tools, support sensory needs in holiday environments, prepare for changes in routines and schedules, and navigate family gatherings, expectations, and new experiences. Participants will leave with practical ideas for making busy or unfamiliar experiences more manageable and creating a holiday season that works for their child and family.

Registration for our events is required to ensure we can provide the best experience for everyone involved. If you need assistance with the registration process, whether you’re a family or a community partner, we’re here to help! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for support. We also offer loaner equipment for families who need assistance registering or accessing virtual events. Additionally, we want to ensure that transportation, child care, and translation services are never barriers to participation. We encourage you to note any potential barriers in the registration forms so we can explore ways to help you.

To better serve our community and confirm to our funders that we are reaching the families who need us, our registration forms will ask for some basic information. Your privacy is important to us, and all data collected will be handled confidentially.

Please note that registration for each event is usually required, and links to register can be found within the event details on our events calendar. Thank you for being part of our community!
