Whether you’re new to special education or looking to strengthen your knowledge, this session will help you:

  • Understand the core principles of IDEA (the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
  • Communicate more effectively with your school team
  • Feel Confident and prepared for your next IEP meeting

Tips, tools, and examples will be shared to support you in becoming an informed and engaged partner in the IEP process

Additionally, we want to ensure that transportation, child care, and translation services are never barriers to participation. We encourage you to note any potential barriers in the registration forms so we can explore ways to help you.

To better serve our community and confirm to our funders that we are reaching the families who need us, our registration forms will ask for some basic information. Your privacy is important to us, and all data collected will be handled confidentially.
