Únete a nuestro Club de Lectura en Español, un espacio cálido y acogedor para familias de habla hispana con hijos que experimentan discapacidades intelectuales y del desarrollo. Todas las sesiones serán completamente en español y el libro está disponible tanto en español como en inglés.

Leeremos Los dos hemisferios de Lucca, una historia real y poderosa que sigue a un niño y su familia mientras navegan el amor, los desafíos, las fortalezas y las diferencias neurológicas. Las familias pueden asistir a una sesión, a varias o a todas.

Book Club in Spanish:

Los dos hemisferios de Lucca

Join our statewide Spanish Language Book Club, a warm and welcoming space for Spanish-speaking families with children experiencing Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. All sessions will be held entirely in Spanish, and the book is available in both Spanish and English.

We will read Los dos hemisferios de Lucca, a powerful true story that follows a young boy and his family as they navigate love, challenges, strengths, and neurological differences. Families may attend one session, several sessions, or all of them.

We also offer loaner equipment for families who need assistance registering or accessing virtual events. Additionally, we want to ensure that transportation, child care, and translation services are never barriers to participation. We encourage you to note any potential barriers in the registration forms so we can explore ways to help you.

To better serve our community and confirm to our funders that we are reaching the families who need us, our registration forms will ask for some basic information. Your privacy is important to us, and all data collected will be handled confidentially.
