About the presenter:

Deborah Collins has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 17 years and has specialized in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) throughout her career. She joined GPSD7 in 2015 and has spent the past 12 years supporting students and families in Grants Pass.

Deborah’s favorite part of her work is helping students with complex communication needs find their voice through AAC. In this session, she’ll share practical ways families can incorporate AAC into everyday routines to support communication growth and feel empowered to begin using AAC at home.
